We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Business Development Representative to support ongoing growth efforts. This position focuses on outreach, relationship building, and helping customers explore insurance options.

Key Responsibilities

Service & Sales Support
  • Handle service work assigned by the sales team.
  • Assist customers with policy changes, billing, payments, cancellations, and documents.
  • Prepare certificates of insurance and other policy documents.
  • Follow up with customers on outstanding items.
Underwriting
  • Track pending applications and underwriting requirements.
  • Follow up on missing documents, questionnaires, and other requirements.
  • Work with customers and the sales team to get policies issued.
Reporting & Office Support
  • Maintain Excel production and sales trackers.
  • Track office production, goals, and customer reviews.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Handle general office and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain office/kitchen supplies.
Marketing & Community
  • Create content for office social media.
  • Research local events and sponsorship opportunities. (Could incentives content and # of events scheduled?)
  • Coordinate office participation in community events.
  • Help grow the office's presence in the local community.
Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Previous experience in customer engagement, marketing, or outreach preferred.
  • Must either have or be able to obtain a property and casualty insurance license and a life and health insurance license





Compensation $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
